I'm Ryan Zimbauer from San Jose, California and a junior in civil engineering. I'm a technology wizard, outdoor enthusiast, and innovator. I enjoy rock climbing, surfing, kayaking, water polo, and biking. In addition to surviving my engineering classes, I've competed in BYU's SIOY competition with my patent-pending invention PocketSafe, a magnet you attach inside your pocket to charge and hold your phone from sliding out. I also provide tech support to prospective, current, and returned missionaries through my project https://missionary.pro. I'm skilled in videography, visual design, and social media management. I interned for Caltrans (California DOT) last summer doing survey, inspection, and bridge construction work. This coming summer, I will be interning for Kimley-Horn in San Jose on their Transportation Planning and Traffic Operations (TPTO) team.
